TerraViva LOGO: Graphic Design Competition | Over the course of time, we have recognised the importance of digging deeper into our brand identity, questioning precisely what identifies the essence of every startup: the logo. With this premise in mind, we have decided to undertake the search for a new distinctive and iconic symbol, capable of representing in the best way the core values of TerraViva.
 
The challenge of this competition is to fully explore the values that characterise both our brand and all our initiatives, searching for that symbol, that font, that graphic sign capable of expressing the perfect synthesis of what TerraViva is today. The intent is to collect original and ground-breaking proposals capable of communicating our identity in an effective and immediate way.
 
Designers will have the freedom to propose timely enhancements to the existing logo and font, or explore entirely new directions, playing with shapes, colours, lettering, and tone of voice. The goal is to design a logo that not only has a strong visual impact, but also tells a story, conveys our commitment to a sustainable future and communicates our passion for design and architecture. Push your limits and impress the jury with new solutions capable of exceeding our best expectations!

F.A.Q. Frequently Asked Questions

 

Where can I find my “Registration Code”? The “Registration Code” (ex. 12345) will be available after complete your registration. In addition will be sent also at your email address.

 

Who can participate in the competition? The competition is open to students, architects, designers, urbanists, engineers, artists, makers, activists and anyone interested in the architectural design.

 

Is it possible to participate in a team? Participants can join the competition either individually or with a team and there is no restriction or limit in the number of members that can compose a team.

 

Why registration fees? Registration fees are used to cover the running costs of the competition and to improve customer care services. The registration fees cover taxes, web services, database services and everything related to computer security and the processing of personal data. Registration fees allow us to organize new initiatives to promote creativity and to feed the debate on present and future issues regarding climate change, natural-based solutions and social engagement.

 

Can I enrol to the competition with my Company or Firm? Yes, you can participate with your Company. To issue your invoice, we ask you to provide your Tax identification number or your VAT Number on the registration procedure. If your Company is based in Europe, we should verify the correctness of your VAT number via the EU Tax authorities (VIES VAT number validation).

 

How do I register a team? During the registration we only need the personal data of the group leader. The other team members will be indicated in the final submission package at the end of the competition. You will find all the instructions after registering.

 

Are there any restrictions on the nationality of the participants? Teams can be composed by members of different nationalities and there are no restrictions about country of residence.

 

I didn’t receive the confirmation email. Is there a way to check if everything has been uploaded properly? If you have not received your receipt please check the spam or junk folder of your e-mail account. For any inquiry, please contact us at: info@terravivacompetition.com

 

Which language can I use in the .pdf Presentation? All the submitted text files have to be in English.

 

If I choose the 3 logos pack do I have to fit all three logo proposals in the 20 pages Presentation? If you choose the 3 logos pack, it's required to upload 3 different .pdfs of 20 pages each, one per proposal, in order to explain your design choices in the best way possible.

 

Do I have to choose colours from the palettes in the Competition Brief? The colour palettes you can find in the competition brief are simply example ones. You have complete freedom in choosing colours, fonts, graphics,…as long as you think they represent TerraViva identity and values in the most effective way possible.
