Lighthouse Hotel

Lighthouse Hotel: Architecture & Interior Design Competition | Aiming to imagine a new life for this evocative building in ruins, the competition requires the design of a boutique hotel within the abandoned lighthouse overlooking the crystalline sea of the Tremiti Islands.

What if tourists and visitors were offered the chance to “experience” it by staying inside the renovated structure for a few days? How to successfully implement an accommodation offer of this type by integrating it coherently with the surrounding landscape?

The project will be mainly focused on the transformation of the interior spaces of the lighthouse, through concepts and strategies able to illustrate detailed and high quality design solutions. It will be asked to intervene also on the external areas pertaining to the hotel and particular attention will be required by the terrace overlooking the sea.

Born in 2005 from Enrico Corelli's challenge, PLH® emerged to redefine the electric control plate, infusing it with luxurious aesthetics and customizable appeal. Corelli, owner of Epic, a leading plant engineering company, recognized the plate's potential to enhance interior design.

Through extensive research and passionate craftsmanship, PLH® evolved to embody both beauty and technological functionality. The journey involved deep material experimentation, meticulous supplier selection, prototype creation, engineering, and production with CNC machines. Beyond aesthetics, PLH® prioritizes ergonomics for easy installation and safe usage. Each plate is a bespoke decorative object, tailored to individual preferences in shapes, dimensions, and finishes.

Corelli emphasizes PLH®'s visibility as an added value in interior design, elevating spaces with its unique quality.

F.A.Q. Frequently Asked Questions

The storage building n. 3 is not the subject of the project, so should it be demolished and therefore not represented in the graphic documents?
