This competition invited architects, designers, artists, and creatives to contribute their vision to the city’s evolving identity. Situated along Italy’s Adriatic coast, Termoli is a town where history, culture, and contemporary life converge. This competition formed part of a broader initiative to reimagine Termoli’s visual identity, reinforcing its position on both national and international stages. Through creativity and design, participants were called to translate the town’s character into a compelling visual language, an identity that could reflect its spirit while guiding its future. The winning proposal would be awarded the prestigious “Premio Termoli” and officially adopted by the Municipality.

The selected designs stood out for their ability to interpret Termoli’s essence through distinctive and engaging visual languages. Some proposals reimagined the town with vibrant and expressive graphics, transforming the urban landscape into playful systems of icons, fonts, and signage that are both practical and impactful. Others drew inspiration from local traditions, craftsmanship, and architectural symbols, combining artistic depth with coherent and contemporary expressions. The jury appreciated the variety of approaches that balanced innovation with respect for context, creating bold yet refined identities that resonate with the city’s character and aspirations.
